Mike has a different back story than most when it comes to starting a payroll company. Most come from a background of payroll. They worked for one of the national payroll providers and thought that they could do payroll better.
Mike comes from a trucking background. He was the CFO of an 80 truck trucking company here in MI. They used a national chain for their payroll and hated it. The company just couldn’t get it right and as a result, they often overpaid the drivers.
Mike knew that he could make a payroll software that they could use in-house and solve of all the problems they were having. So he did.
