Trucking CFO/Controller Support group forming!

Trucking CFO/Controller Support group forming!

I still remember when I was the CFO of a trucking company. There were so many things I couldn’t just ask someone about because nobody understands what I did and the problems I faced on a daily basis.

There are the factual things like

· Trends in the marketplace for insurance

· Best places to finance equipment

· What do you measure on each week as a KPI

Being able to talk with people that understand your problem is a game-changer.

Like you, they know the struggles of running the finance and administration for a trucking company and reporting to the owner. Like you, they know about cash flow in trucking and all the challenges that can bring.

I always thought “There should be a group for all of us”. There are many groups and associations for trucking safety and compliance. There are also groups for recruiting and HR. Why not a group to help trucking finance leaders make their company more profitable?

You deserve to have help and ideas available easily. So let’s start that group together. Here are the rules to join.

1. You must be the lead finance person in your trucking company. By that, you lead other people, you advise the owners on financial matters, you meet with the CPA that does the company’s taxes, etc… If you are the invoicing person, this group may not be for you.

2. You cannot be the owner of the trucking company. We can’t have owners recruiting other people in the group, so no owners. We can (and should) form a separate owners group. Email me about an owners group if you are interested.

3. There will not be any proprietary information exchanged. You might suggest a metric but you don’t have to give out your score on the metric. We will not ask you to betray your company.

So, who is interested in learning more? Contact us below. This can be a game-changer for you and your trucking company!
