When is someone else (ADP, Paychex, or Gusto etc.) a better fit for my trucking company’s payroll than Superior Trucking Payroll Service?
As much as we hate to admit it, we may not always be the best fit for you. There are going to be times when ADP, Paychex, or Gusto are a better fit for your trucking company’s payroll needs than we are. Since our mission is to “Help Trucking Families”, we feel like we should tell you when that is the case. Here are some examples of when other companies are better for you than we are.
When you have locations in multiple countries all paying under one Federal ID Number.
We are focused on US payrolls only. We have some friends that can help Canada-only companies but So can the other guys. We’d love to help you with that but ADP is a better fit for your trucking company in that case.
You already know all about the payroll laws you might encounter and price is the only thing that matters.
Part of what we provide is expertise in trucking payroll. If you don’t need that and you only care about finding a low-cost provider, Gusto or Intuit payroll might be a better solution for you. Our rates are competitive but if the last dollar is your goal, we may not be right for you.
When you need to pick up paper checks or other documentation on demand.
Sometimes you need things now! While we can overnight things to you, that isn’t always soon enough. If you often have payrolls that require paper checks that you need to pick up the same day from your payroll service office we might not be the right fit. We are in Grand Rapids, MI so if this is you and you are not nearby, you may be better served with a payroll service that is local to you. We know a lot of payroll services throughout the United States so we’d be happy to refer you.
