With over 20 years of experience in the trucking industry, Melisa is well-versed in the complexities of trucking payroll and adept at navigating special circumstances. Before joining Superior Trucking Payroll Service, Melisa worked at a trucking company, where she managed driver miles and expenses for a fleet of 50 trucks. This hands-on experience gives her unique insight into the challenges our clients face when preparing their payroll data.
Melisa’s top priority is customer service. She strives to treat each client as an individual with genuine needs, rather than just another number in the system. Her goal is to alleviate the burdens of our clients and make their daily operations smoother. “As the In-Bound Sales Rep, my mission is to simplify the lives of our clients,” says Melisa. “It brings me joy to assist new clients in finding the best payroll solution for their needs and to provide top-notch service to both them and their drivers.”
In addition to her role, Melisa now focuses on helping trucking companies that may not currently use our services but could benefit from our trucking knowledge or payroll solutions. She works closely with new clients, guiding them through the transition process and ensuring they receive the support they need.
Fun Fact About Melisa:
Melisa loves to travel, especially with her family. They own a Fifth Wheel Camper and enjoys camping all over Michigan. Their favorite spots are in the woods or by one of the Great Lakes, with Lake Superior ranking #1 on their list. Melisa’s favorite campground is McLain State Park in the Keweenaw Peninsula, the most northern part of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. But one of the most memorable trips they have taken was visiting the Grand Canyon National Park (AZ), Zion National Park (UT), and Arches National Park (UT) in the spring of 2024.
For Melisa, a perfect day starts with sleeping in until she wakes up naturally. She enjoys making a cup of coffee and watching the woods come alive. Listening to the wind in the trees or the waves of the Great Lakes brings her peace. Melisa’s favorite season is fall. She loves hiking in the woods, surrounded by the bright oranges, yellows, and reds of the autumn leaves.
Melisa’s hidden talent and hobby is photography. She’s been passionate about it since she was young and even took college classes that included darkroom work. Black and white photos are her favorite, and she aspires to spend more time in the woods capturing moments with her camera.
