Switching Payroll Providers FAQs

How do I know if Superior Trucking Payroll Service is right for my company?

If your current payroll provider doesn’t understand how trucking pay works — or if you’re spending too much time fixing payroll mistakes — you’re in the right place. We specialize only in trucking and understand all the pay types, per diem, and compliance rules that matter to your business.

How hard is it to switch to your service?

Not hard at all. We handle 95% of the transition for you — including pulling data from your current provider, setting up your payroll system, and walking you through your first run. Most companies are fully onboarded in 1–2 weeks or less.

Do you handle per diem for trucking companies?

Yes — and we do it the right way. We’ve saved clients thousands per year by handling per diem correctly through payroll, following IRS rules, and keeping everything audit-ready.

Will my drivers understand their pay stubs?

They will with us. Our pay stubs are built specifically for trucking — with clear breakdowns for mileage, loads, deductions, and per diem. When drivers understand their pay, they ask fewer questions and trust you more.
