Understanding Supplemental Payroll Fees: What They Are and Why They Matter

Handling Bonuses and Commissions: Whether it’s end-of-year bonuses or sales commissions, processing supplemental payments requires careful attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Processing Retroactive Adjustments: In situations where retroactive adjustments need to be made, such as correcting payroll errors or back pay owed to employees, supplemental payroll fees may be charged to cover the additional administrative burden.
Processing Missed Wages: Sometimes companies inadvertently over look an employee’s hours or miles from their payroll data. If the missed data is not caught before the weekly payroll has been processed an extra payroll for this employee(s) will require a supplemental fee.
Missing Employee Information: Occasionally a new employee will have omitted important information for payroll.  In order to get the rest of the company wages paid, this employee will need to be removed from the regular payroll.  We, here at Superior Trucking Payroll Service, know how important it is to have new employees get their pay. As soon as all needed information has been submitted, we will help get those wages processed.
